Our Favorite
Ceppaiano Toscana Rose

On the western edge of Tuscany, as the Arno River winds its' way through Florence, down to Pisa, on the banks a few kilometers before it empties into the Tyrrhenian Sea, a new winery was built just to make this wine and two others. The Oenology department at the University of Pisa helped in the selection of the clones and rootstocks to be planted to make modern wines, while retaining the regions' rich heritage. The grapes don't have to travel at all, assuring the ultimate in freshness and flavors.
With summer coming on, what could be more apropos than a fresh, lively Rose? It's so refreshing you don't really need food to enjoy it, but it will pair well with fish courses, appetizers and especially salads. We just lowered the price, so maybe two bottles aren't too far a reach.
